I am South African. I’m a musician. I’m inspired by life and the people in mine, and I’m not afraid to be honest about it. You’ll hear nothing but honesty in my songs. I used to have a day job, the really boring office kind, but this is what I do now. I spend my days writing, performing, roadtripping, touring, planning and dreaming, and have never worn a brighter smile or had a lighter heart. I am, by nature, torturously responsible, so leaving the security of the corporate machine took me longer than I wish it had (a regret that only motivates me more), and sometimes the days are hard and long, the debts seem insurmountable, and my determination is left wanting… But most days I wake up wondering why it took me so long to take the chance to live the dream that makes me who I am. South African. Musician. Professional Dreamer. This is my account of life on the road from here to there, and all the spaces in between. A life I am proud to say is finally mine.
